- PURPOSE: For construction of honey houses, purchase of colonies, equipment’s such as boxes, honey extractors, smokers and bee veil, foundation sheets, gloves, sugar, etc.
- ELIGIBILITY: Small/marginal farmers/agricultural labourer individual/ association of persons/ companies who possess adequate experience in bee keeping (minimum unit of 10 bee hives).
- EXTENT OF LOAN:
- a. Need based. As per the unit cost approved by the KVIC, NABARD or state govt.
- b. Extent of finance would depend on the size of the unit, number of bee colonies, cost of equipment’s and comb foundation sheets etc.
- REPAYMENT: 5 years (including gestation period of 12 months)
